Frequently asked questions.

  • How far do you travel?

As far as you want me to! I am based in Bristol and I can travel at 1h30 on your wedding morning before an overnight stay is required. Most wedding mornings start from 7 am to 8 am, so I have to make sure I am well-rested and avoid any long drives the morning of the wedding.

  • How many people's Makeup and Hair can you do on a Wedding morning?

I can accommodate up to six hair or makeup services on your wedding day. If more are needed, I’ll arrange for a second artist who has similar style and skills as me, so you won’t need to worry about coordinating with another supplier or handling extra invoices. I’ll also create a detailed morning schedule to keep everything on track, ensuring a calm, seamless, and stress-free start to your day

  • How far in advance should I book my Hair and Makeup?

I encourage booking your date as soon as you find a supplier you love. For Saturday weddings between April and September, it’s best to secure your booking at least 10 months in advance. Peak season weekends are highly sought after, as wedding suppliers can only take on one client per day.

  • Do you travel for trials?

Trials are held at my home studio in Bristol from Monday to Thursday. If you can’t get to me, I am happy to travel to your location. However, a travel fee and hourly rate will apply on top of your Hair and Makeup appointment.

  • I have a second look planned and I would like to have some makeup freshen up later in the day, do you offer this service?

Yes! I can stay for a second look and be on-site for any touch-ups needed, The change of look will take approximately 45 min to 1 hour and it will be charged as an hourly rate.

  • Why Hair and Makeu Artist have a minimum fee?

This is due to high demand, the inability to take on other bookings that day, and the time required for travel, to name a few. For artists like me who also work in the fashion and commercial industry, wedding bookings need to be worthwhile compared to day on set.
